Hi everyone! This is my first ever post!
A few weeks ago I was looking round Superdrug and came across this, Garnier Summerbody. I am quite pale and have started thinking about tanning. I would never use sunbeds, and I've once had a spray tan for prom, and liked the result, but as a student, I can't afford to get them every 3 weeks or how ever long. So, I thought about trying a lotion. This particular product was on a offer, I can't exactly remember how much, but was definitely under £4! Bargain, I thought and for this price, if it doesn't work, I haven't spent a lot to loose.
This product of Garnier, is a '12 hour daily moisturiser with a hint of self-tan that gradually builds a natural-looking sun-kissed glow.' With this mind, I brought it, because of being naturally pale, I thought a gradual 'sun-kissed glow' would work well. However, the day after I first used it, I could tell a difference in my skin colour. It wasn't a major difference, but was noticeable. As I've never used a tanning lotion before and was unsure of the amounts to apply, I got a few patches on my knees and neck area. I know as time goes on, I'll get used to applying this product and hopefully won't end up with patches in the future and being pale, the results were more noticable.
This product is easy to apply, feels great on my skin and smells good. I will be buying this again, unless I find a better product for my skin, as I feel for the money I spent, it's worked well.
I'll try and upload a few photos in the coming weeks, but have lost my camera at the moment! And the quality of my phone camera is shocking.
Has anybody else tried this product? Or have suggestions of what else I could use?
